Job Description
accel bi corporation is seeking a Senior Technical Specialist to develop and support enterprise data pipelines, dashboards, integrations, automation workflows, and data-migration processes. The successful candidate will use Python, SQL, and Power BI to move and transform data across legacy and modern platforms, maintain data quality, and support enterprise modernization initiatives.
This is a W-2 position. Only U.S. citizens and Green Card holders are eligible. Sponsorship and C2C arrangements are not available.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain Python-based ETL pipelines, data-migration scripts, and automation workflows
• Design, build, and optimize data models for reporting and analytics
• Create interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using Power BI
• Extract, transform, validate, and load data between databases, APIs, enterprise systems, and flat files
• Write optimized SQL queries and analyze existing queries for performance improvements
• Integrate data from cloud applications, on-premises systems, and legacy platforms
• Identify data-quality issues, reconcile datasets, and implement data-integrity best practices
• Automate recurring data-processing and reporting activities
• Maintain documentation for data processes, source mappings, and migration procedures
• Participate in architecture, design, and planning sessions for modernization projects
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into effective solutions
• Develop or maintain applications using Zope and Plone CMS when required

Qualifications
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Python
• Proficiency with Power BI
• Advanced SQL and relational database knowledge, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or Ingres
• Strong understanding of SOAP/REST APIs, backend architecture, and microservices
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance requirements
• Experience with data migration, data conversion, or legacy-system modernization
• Experience developing or maintaining applications using the Zope application server
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident/Green Card holder
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Java development
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of Power BI workspaces, gateways, administration, and deployment strategies
• Experience with Git/Subversion and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Perl scripting or legacy application maintenance
• Experience developing or maintaining Plone CMS applications
