Job Description
The selected candidate will work closely with business users, developers, and the software vendor to ensure the quality, reliability, and business readiness of the platform. The engagement will utilize Azure DevOps for test management, defect tracking, and reporting. This is a remote opportunity with a duration of approximately four months
Responsibilities
Verify, reproduce, document, and triage defects reported by business users.
Collaborate with vendors, stakeholders, and project teams to investigate and validate issues.
Validate vendor-provided defect fixes in development, pre-production, and production environments.
Design, develop, maintain, and enhance Playwright automated test scripts.
Execute functional, regression, smoke, and configuration testing.
Create and manage test cases, defects, and work items using Azure DevOps.
Perform production validation and post-release verification activities.
Prepare test reports, defect verification logs, and validation documentation.
Participate in status meetings and provide testing progress updates.
Develop knowledge transfer documents, testing procedures, and maintenance documentation.
Support project closeout activities and provide recommendations for future improvements.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in QA and Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) practices.
Proficiency in Playwright automation testing.
Strong working knowledge of Azure DevOps.
Excellent defect management and troubleshooting skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience using Azure DevOps for defect tracking, work item management, and reporting. Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, development teams, and third-party vendors. Experience validating fixes across development, pre-production, and production environments. Experience preparing test documentation, reports, and knowledge transfer materials. Preferred Qualifications Experience with public sector, government, grant management, or loan management systems. |
