Antonio boasts over 42 years of extensive IT experience, specializing in methodologies, Software Development, Project Management, Data Management, and Business Intelligence. A graduate of UERJ (Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro) with a degree in Electronic Engineering, Antonio has been a trailblazer in his field.

In 1995, he authored and published the first book in Portuguese on Function Point Analysis. Antonio’s expertise is underscored by his certification as a CFPS (Certified Function Points Specialist) in 1995, awarded by the IFPUG (International Function Points Users Group).

Having dedicated 30 years to Unisys Corp, Antonio held key positions in both Brazil and the USA. His commitment to excellence is further evidenced by his certification as a CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) instructor and appraiser by the CMMI Institute. Antonio has conducted over 70 CMMI courses and more than 260 CMMI appraisals across the globe, including in the USA, Brazil, Portugal, the UK, and China.

Antonio played a pivotal role in the construction and revision of the CMMI V2.0 model, showcasing his commitment to advancing industry standards. Additionally, he holds the designation of EDME (Enterprise Data Management Expert) by the CMMI Institute, allowing him to conduct Data Management Maturity (DMM) Model Assessments. Antonio’s wealth of experience and certifications position him as a distinguished expert in the IT and data management realms.
