Job Description

This position will serve as a Cloud Solution Architect responsible for working with the current Architects to provide possible solutions for implementing new Technologies and tools in Cloud. This position requires prior experience as a Technical Lead or Architect role in designing and implementing modern technologies including cloud infrastructure on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for development practices, performing system analysis, overseeing the cloud implementation, assisting with the segregation of the Child Welfare program, evaluating cloud models and various technology software as company moves forward with a technology modernization effort.  This position also requires management of various tasks and activities on the architecture team. This position requires substantial communication in verbal and written forms, establishing guidelines and guardrails for system enhancements, and providing analysis of software, technology, and a variety of proposed solutions to various problems.

Qualifications
  • Cloud Certified in one or more Cloud Platforms.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all job levels, use excellent evaluation skills, and ability to relay information in legible reports as required  
Experience
  • Architecture experience with public cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP) and public cloud & SaaS applications 6 Years
  • Experience w business ecosystems, SaaS, (IaaS), (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics. 6 Years
  • IT Infrastructure / Cloud architect experience to research, develop and deliver technical designs for Cloud, Network Storage and app services. 6 Years
  • Experience with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies. 5 Years
  • Experience developing processes, road maps and whitepapers for different initiatives. 6 Years
  • Experience as a technical lead or in an architect role. 5 Years
  • Security experience in encryption technologies, network architectures, communications security, LDAP, SAML and application-level access methods. 5 Years
  • Cloud security controls experience including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, 5 Years
  • Experience designing/applying Enterprise Integration patterns (event/message, request/response, batch) including implementing middleware technologies. 5 Years
  • Experience working, designing, developing and architecting Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure environments & VMware private Cloud environments. 5  Years
  • Sound knowledge and experience with Containers, Cloud native applications.5 Years
  • Progressive technical experience, ideally including Object and data modeling; J2EE/Java and web-based application development. Required 5 Years
  • Progressive technical experience, ideally including Web Services, SOAP, and middleware, and Oracle database.  5 Years
  • Demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment, where priorities and direction can change depending on business needs / opportunities. 5 Years
  • Prior experience with the Cúram SPM technical architecture and implementation. Highly desired 4 Years
  • Experience creating and developing Kubernetes architecture and tools for product teams and as platforms. Highly desired 4 Years
  • Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Azure DevOps, Ansible, Puppet, Octopus, Chef, Salt, etc. Highly desired 4 Years
  • Experience with Implementing CI/CD Pipeline. Highly desired 4 Years
  • Experience with implementing one or more RPA technologies. Highly desired 3 Years
