Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Legacy Systems Specialist to join our team. The selected candidate will fill the role of Specialist on the State Automated Driver License System (SADLS). As a Specialist, you will be responsible for the analysis of complex legacy program modules, and coding and testing of new and existing modules for major modifications to legacy applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

Collaborate with HR subject matter experts (SMEs) across organization Divisions and Facilities to conduct detailed analysis and document business workflows associated with HR Onboarding and Offboarding processes.
Gain familiarity with the selected SaaS product and its functionalities to automate the identified business workflows.
Understand and document the roles and responsibilities of the HR team, Hiring team, and new employees in utilizing the SaaS product.
Develop comprehensive test cases to be used by the HR team when installing new releases of the SaaS product.
Create training guides, communications, and conduct regular training sessions for staff as the SaaS product is deployed in production for use by the HR team, Hiring managers, and our employees.
Exhibit a desire to become the hands-on configuration expert for the SaaS product on behalf of the HR team, potentially assuming the role of product administrator as the project transitions into steady operations and maintenance.


Basic Qualification:

  • 5 years of experience in business analysis, working directly with business teams to document business processes.
  • 5 years of experience in test plan development for SaaS products.
  • 5 years of experience in creating training materials, mentoring, and training business teams to use SaaS products as configured.
  • 2 years of technical competencies in configuring a SaaS product using self-service configuration tools, form design, and role management within the product.
    Preferred Qualification:
  • Previous experience in HR-related projects or systems.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
