Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:
Collaborate with the Project Manager to clearly define roles and responsibilities for the processes to be applied to ensure sound quality management practices are applied to all phases of the project.
Provide advice and expert consulting to the project team.
Provide independent and objective reviews of the Project, its progress, and any difficulties, including, but not limited to, an assessment of the quality of project management deliverables.
Be a common source of reliable, independent information to those charged with the oversight of the project.
Perform periodic reviews, analyses, and provide written feedback on the Project and related activities.
Be expected to ensure that effective project planning, management, risk assessment, and project controls are being applied for project success.
Provide, at a minimum:

Written project Initial Readiness Assessment Report
Monthly written report to the Executive Sponsor, Project Sponsors, OCIO (Office of the Chief Information Officer), and Project Manager.
Summarize monthly written report at the monthly Steering Committee meeting. The frequency of meetings may be adjusted based on project activities.
Final written project Closeout Report
The Contractor’s reviews will include, at a minimum, an assessment of the project performance within the ten (10) Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK®) practice areas.

Qualifications
  •  Project Management Certification
  •  Prosci Certification
Experience
  •  5+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
  •  2+ more years as a Project Quality Assurance Practitioner on an enterprise-wide project.
  •  Project Management Certification
  • Prosci Certification
  • One year of change management experience
